Framlingham Sir Robert Hitcham’s CEVAP School is seeking a committed, skilled and passionate SENDCo and EYFS Teacher to join our team from April 2026. This exciting role combines teaching in EYFS every morning, with a strong emphasis on early speech and language development and leading our SEND provision each afternoon. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning and life chances of our youngest pupils and those with additional needs across the school. SENDCo You will lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice. You will: be a qualified teacher and hold the NASENCO Award or NPQ in SEN or be committed to completing one provide strategic leadership for SEND, ensuring the highest standards of inclusive practice identify, assess and monitor pupils with SEND, coordinating effective support and personalised provision lead EHCP processes, review meetings and maintain accurate SEND records and provision maps work closely with class teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies to ensure strong communication and shared approaches monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions and adapt provision as needed be a confident leader who can inspire others to champion the needs of vulnerable pupils. EYFS Specialist You will work alongside our nursery and reception teachers to provide additional support in our Early Years setting. We are seeking an EYFS specialist with a passion for early development and a strong understanding of the importance of communication in particular Speech and Language development and will play a central role in giving children a strong foundation for learning. You will: be an excellent EYFS practitioner with in-depth knowledge of the Early Years curriculum have expertise in early speech and language development, supporting children’s communication needs through high-quality practice this role includes delivering support; applicants should be trained or willing to undertake training in ELKLAN / Speech, Language and communication create a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports every child’s wellbeing and progress demonstrate high expectations and a commitment to securing exceptional outcomes for all learners be reflective, creative and committed to continuous improvement.
