Position Overview
We are recruiting two senior housekeepers to work flexibly between the Moseley Hall Hospital site and the West Heath Hospital site. One full‑time role (37.5 hours a week, 5 days from 7) and one part‑time role (22.5 hours a week, 3 days from 7) will be filled.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high‑quality housekeeping service that promotes patient care and supports clinical colleagues, particularly in infection prevention and control.
* Work flexibly across sites, covering for other colleagues as required.
* Maintain compliance with HACCP and COSHH, serving meals and beverages and assisting in ward kitchen areas.
* Plan, provision and monitor specialised cleans (deep cleans) of patient and inpatient areas in accordance with Infection Prevention Control Team instructions.
* Handle cash and complete paperwork accurately, adhering to CQC, environmental health, catering and Trust legislation and standards.
* Integrate the housekeeping service with nursing care to ensure seamless patient support.
Required Knowledge & Experience
* Experience working in an NHS or healthcare setting with patient contact.
* Knowledge of Confidentiality, Safeguarding, Infection Control and Health and Safety.
* Familiarity with HACCP, COSHH and Trust specific policies and procedures.
* Ability to adhere to CQC and environmental health standards.
