Location: Penrith, Cumbria
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - with some flexibility available to suit your needs!
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Civil Engineering team, supporting the National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Preparing preliminary and detailed designs in line with approved procedures for local and national authorities.
* Delivering technical and feasibility studies that meet client specifications.
* Assessing risks, materials, and costs while ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations.
* Contributing to technical excellence and innovation, providing creative solutions to engineering challenges.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and promoting health & safety in the workplace.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Are a member of a professional body, with IEng / CEng status or working towards it.
* Have a strong working knowledge of civil engineering design software, such as AutoCAD.
