Position Title: Solutions Consultant
Location: Bristol
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: up to £45,000 based on experience plus £10,000 commission and £6,000 car allowance.
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a Solution’s Consultant with a strong business understanding and passion for new technology. As a Solutions Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the sales process of the Xledger system working alongside the sales team to understand the needs and requirements of potential customers and help them make informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
* Product Knowledge - an understanding of how an ERP system works, including; knowing the technical details, features, benefits, and use cases.
* Customer Needs - you will work closely with potential customers to identify their specific needs, challenges, and objectives. You will gather information to tailor the product or service solution to the customer's unique requirements.
* Solution Design - Based on the customer's needs, you will design customized solutions. This will involve creating product demonstrations to showcase how the product can address the customer's challenges effectively.
* Technical Expertise - You will have the technical expertise needed to answer the technical questions and concerns raised by customers and you will be able to explain complex technical concepts in a way that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
* Proposal Development - You will assist in creating proposals and presentations that outline the solution, its benefits, and its alignment with the customer's needs.
* Demo - You will conduct live product demonstrations and show potential customers how the Xledger system works and how it can address their specific challenges.
* Tender Process – You will support with RFP’s and RFI’s, offering technical knowledge where required.
* Supporting Growth – You will attend events and proactively engage with customers on their needs and ambitions and or contributes to marketing activities such as blog writing.
* Sales Collaboration - You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that the proposed solution aligns with the customer's expectations and business objectives and provide technical support to the sales team during the negotiation and closing stages.
* Post Sale - After a sale is made, pre-sales consultants often facilitate a smooth handover to project managers and the implementation team, ensuring that the customer's expectations are met during the deployment and onboarding process.
* Strategy and Innovation – You will execute strategic objectives as defined by management.
* Regular Travel / Flexibility – This role will involve regular travel to customer sites and the need to be fully flexible as calendars can change unexpectedly in line with customer needs.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience working with an ERP system’s such as: Xledger, Netsuite or Unit 4.
* Strong understanding of accounting processes, business processes and how a finance system fits into an ecosystem.
* Strong IT technical skills and understanding.
* Delivering presentations/demos/training to senior members of an organisation.
* Implementation of pre-sales/solutions experience.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified / Part-qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA)
