Overview

BLOC Blinds, part of the Bloc Group, is a leading blinds manufacturing company based in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland. We are growing fast and looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Ecommerce team to deliver outstanding service to our customers.

Description

This role is about being the person our customers remember for all the right reasons: helpful, friendly, and always ready to find the best solution. If you love solving problems, making people happy, and bringing energy to your work, you will fit right in.


Responsibilities

* Answer queries via phone, email, and live chat, guiding customers from simple questions through to more complex requests.
* Support customers through the order process, from placing orders to arranging fabric samples and spare parts.
* Provide clear product information, advice and after-sales support.
* Organise replacement parts, resolve issues, and follow through until everything is sorted.
* Assist customers with measure and fit enquiries, coordinating appointments and payments with relevant teams.
* Share feedback and recurring issues with the Team Leader to improve the customer experience.
* Deliver a first-class experience that reflects the quality of our brands.
* Manage daily time plan efficiently to ensure no detail slips through the cracks.


What we are looking for

Essential

* 1+ years of experience in customer service or a similar role.
* A genuine passion for helping people, with patience to listen and the confidence to guide.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Computer confidence, great phone etiquette, and an organised approach.
* A positive attitude, pride in your work, and energy to match.
* Proficient in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Desirable

* Previous customer service experience within a manufacturing organisation.
