Finance Assistant Bideford | Monday-Friday | 9am-5.30pm | Full-time | 6-month Fixed-Term Contract Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Finance Assistant based in Bideford to support day-to-day finance activities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in finance, excellent IT skills, and a customer-focused approach. Key Duties Process weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring accurate recording of deductions. Support the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, including relevant schedules and reconciliations. Process and record refunds accurately. Collaborate with internal departments to support finance tasks and systems training. Assist with year-end audit preparation by compiling and checking required information. Requirements Experience working in a busy finance or management accounts department. Excellent IT skills, including accounting packages and advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge. Strong numeracy and literacy skills. Adaptable and quick to learn, particularly in technical areas. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a diplomatic approach. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative. Customer-focused with a positive and proactive attitude.
