* Provide a clinical pharmacy service that ensures the safe and cost‑effective use of medications, including reviewing ward stock lists.
* Participate in the education and training of other members of the pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams.

* Be an active member of the Pharmacy Department and Gastroenterology Pharmacy Team, ensuring a continuous two‑way exchange of information to maintain high standards with the Trust.

These roles are ideal for registered Pharmacy Technicians accredited in medicines management, or newly qualified technicians looking to start their ward‑based career. Applicants must hold the NVQ Level 3 (QCF) or equivalent and be registered with the GPhC.
Applicants must also hold accreditation in medicines management or accuracy checking; candidates with only one accreditation will be appointed at Band 4 until completing both.
