Area Sales Manager – South-east (Dartford, South London, Surrey)

About the Role
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the South-east (Dartford, South London, Surrey). You’ll be working remotely (home‑based) and will spend your days visiting clients, door knocking, and growing sales across both new business and existing accounts.
Package
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum
Commission: 2% on sales from £0‑£150,000, and 3% on anything above £150,000
Company car, phone, laptop provided
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM
This role is field based with a need to go to head office once per month.
Duties
* Visiting independent hotels, pubs, cafés, schools etc.., to sell our food products
* Door knocking for new clients and regularly meeting new prospects
* Maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients, ensuring they are happy and re‑ordering
* Achieving monthly / quarterly sales targets
* Planning your calls and travel across your territory efficiently
Suitable Candidate
* Exceptional selling skills — you enjoy face‑to‑face meetings and closing deals in person
* Experience in B2B sales, ideally within food products or hospitality / catering sectors
* Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
* Confident in prospecting, cold‑calling, and networking
* Excellent communication, time management, and ability to work independently.
* Passion for food and able to demonstrate creativity in menu suggestions and understand financial costings
* Demonstrate a can do attitude with a self‑motivated approach
