Are you an HR Officer looking for the next step in your career? MCS Group is excited to be working with a growing manufacturing company, recruiting for an HR Manager to join their dynamic team.
Overview
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all HR functions, aligned with broader business goals and strategies. This standalone role offers the opportunity to enhance company performance and employee experience through effective HR processes.
Main Responsibilities
1. HR Administration: Take ownership of core HR tasks, including onboarding, exit procedures, document management, and maintaining employee records on the HRIS. Respond promptly and professionally to related queries.
2. Recruitment: Drive end-to-end recruitment activities, from sourcing candidates and conducting interviews to extending offers.
3. Graduate & Apprenticeship Schemes: Manage schemes in collaboration with academic institutions to attract emerging talent.
4. Talent Strategy: Partner with leadership to develop performance review frameworks, feedback cycles, and initiatives to promote staff development and retention.
5. Learning & Development: Plan and deliver training programs aligned with business objectives, coordinating with internal and external trainers.
6. Employee Relations: Support employee engagement, manage absence, resolve grievances, and advise teams on HR policies and compliance.
7. Employee Wellbeing & CSR: Contribute to initiatives that enhance organizational culture and staff morale.
8. Strategic HR Projects: Collaborate with senior leaders on initiatives that align HR practices with company goals and improve operational performance.
9. Workforce Planning: Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, recommending recruitment or development solutions for long-term capability.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a similar HR role within a relevant industry
* CIPD certification or working towards it
* Degree in HR Management or related field (advantageous)
* Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
