Plant Fitter – Heavy Plant – Edinburgh – £37,000 + overtime = £45k – £55k OTE +++ Company Pension + Life Assurance + Employee Discount Scheme + Employee Assistance Programme + 23 days holiday + bank.
Based in the Edinburgh depot, As Plant Fitter you will be joining the plant operations division and you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing their extensive plant hire fleet which will include the inspection, diagnosis and repair of heavy plant excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers and generators including fault finding on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical as well as completing accurate service reports and parts records and maintaining up to date documentation on the work carried out.
As a Plant Fitter, you will be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Mechanics or Plant Machinery and can demonstrate a proven track record of working on heavy plant and excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
