About the Role
The business is a leading UK-based precision engineering and manufacturing business producing low volume, high value components for demanding applications.
They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to help take their production capabilities to the next level - improving accuracy, efficiency, and quality across their advanced machining and assembly operations.
You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing best practices, leading process improvement projects, and driving “best in class” principles through collaboration with R&D, NPI, engineering and procurement teams.
What You’ll Do
1. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing techniques.
2. Lead projects to enhance cost, quality, and delivery performance across the machine shop and NPI processes.
3. Partner with R&D on new product introduction, ensuring designs are optimised for manufacture.
4. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
