Job Description: Fleet Supervisor

Requirements
Role Requirements & Responsibilities
The role will offer the successful candidate significant responsibility and great opportunities for personal and professional development.
The Fleet Supervisor maintains and oversees company’s fleet ,and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional. Schedule routine maintenance, plan new projects and perform emergency repairs. The incumbent reports to the to the Fleet Manager on fleet related reports based in Dublin.
Maintenance, safety and management tasks that promote a secured, clean, and safe working environment for all employees, including:
· Weekly KPI's (Reporting on Fleet Issues).
· Occasional travel to other ATC sites to carry out fleet audits.
· Form part of the TAPA FSR audit team.
· Fleet Operations Management
· Coordinate vehicle dispatching and scheduling to optimize efficiency.
· Ensure fleet vehicles are available to meet operational demands.
· Track vehicle movements and fuel consumption.
· Monitor driver activities and enforce company policies.
· Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance
· Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs.
· Ensure all vehicles comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
· Keep accurate records of vehicle inspections, registrations, and insurance.
· Work with mechanics and external vendors for repairs and servicing.
· Cost Control & Budgeting
· Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-saving measures.
· Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance
· Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs.
· Ensure all vehicles comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
· Keep accurate records of vehicle inspections, registrations, and insurance.
· Work with mechanics and external vendors for repairs and servicing.
· Cost Control & Budgeting
· Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-saving measures.
· Manage maintenance and repair expenses within budget.
· Assess and recommend vehicle purchases or leasing options.
· Driver Supervision & Training
· Monitor driver performance and provide feedback.
· Ensure drivers maintain proper licenses and certifications.

· Reporting & Data Management
· Maintain logs of vehicle usage, maintenance, and fuel expenses.
· Use fleet management software for tracking and reporting
Candidate Requirements
Ability to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure and to strict deadlines. Proven ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities. The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate:
· Previous operational experience of Fleet in an logistics environment.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Time management skills with the competence to manage multiple priorities at once.
· Proficient with MS Office skills.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
