Your new role
The Finance Manager will take ownership of and manage the day-to-day finances of the contract with a central hospital, supportingmercial decision-making, financial performance and identification and negotiation of contract variations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will also have line management responsibility for a team of two. Please note, this role will be based full-time onsite, with 1 day working from home available in accordance with the needs of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
Key criteria:
1. A fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CIPFA) or exceptional QBE with relevant experience in a similar role and organisation (a background in Facilities management is essential for this role, preferably within a corporate or healthcare setting).
2. You will have a proven history of leading budgeting processes and small finance teams.
3. You will have extensive experience of month-end reporting and analysing accounts.
4. You will have worked alongside Ops teams in previous roles and have excellentmunication skills with both finance and non-finance.
5. You will be confident challenging stakeholders and pushing back when needed.
6. Proficient in the use of SAP.
