Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for aSenior Pharmacist Clinical / Dispensary based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
The post holder will responsible for delivering a highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to patients accessing care within the medical specialties at University Hospital Crosshouse, in particular high care areas such as the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit, Medical High Dependency Unit and Acute Coronary Care Unit. The post holder will participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and work closely with the clinical team to ensure the safe and effective prescribing of medicines to inpatients within medical wards. Additionally, this post provides an essential service to the hospital pharmacy dispensary to ensure that prescriptions are safe, clinically appropriate and processed efficiently within the department.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
The post holder requires to have a Master of Pharmacy degree or equivalent and be registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
