Sewell Wallis is working in partnership with a global professional services company based in central Leeds to recruit a motivated and ambitious Financial Accountant.
As a Financial Accountant, you'll take on a blend of core accounting responsibilities and sector-specific finance tasks, while also supporting key project work focused on streamlining processes. What will you be doing?
* Producing management accounts across five business units
* Preparing statutory accounts at year-end
* Carrying out reconciliations
* Completing UK VAT returns
* Managing inter-company recharges
* Supporting month-end processes and journal entries
* Partnering with internal stakeholders across global teams
* Driving improvements in daily financial processes
What skills are we looking for?
* Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
* Driven, ambitious, and eager to develop
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident with Excel and data analysis
* Proactive attitude and thrives in a fast-paced, sociable team environment
