Management Accountant | Ross on Wye | up to £40,000 (hybrid after probation) The Company My client has a cluster of companies The role We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven Management Accountant to join our finance team Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, work closely with operational teams, and play a key role in supporting our continued growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on variety, responsibility, and making a real impact. Key responsibilities Management Accounts & Reporting: * Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting * Month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments and journals * Variance analysis against budget and prior periods, with clear commentary * Support budgeting and forecasting processes * Assist with reporting as required * Preparation of end of crop costings Payroll: * End to end responsibility for monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness * Processing pension contributions, statutory payments and payroll reconciliations Finance Control & Operations: * Maintain and reconcile balance sheet control accounts * Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes * Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures * Support year end preparation and liaise with external acc...
