Lecturer in Communications and English Variable hours as and when required Ayr Campus From £41,833 - £50,359 per annum, pro rata Reference: REQ01020 You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all learners to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of students by assisting in the development, delivery, and assessment of relevant resources. This will involve supporting the Curriculum Quality Manager in the delivery of the department curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the student journey, delivering first class and high-quality learning and teaching experiences. You will be qualified to Degree level or equivalent in English/ Literature or a related subject area, with demonstrable knowledge and an understanding of the current English curriculum, together with an appropriate level of relevant teaching experience in a college environment and CPD within specialist area. A comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, along with excellent motivational, communication and organisational skills. It is also desirable, but not essential, that you hold or are working towards, a teaching qualification. What is the Pre-approved Register?
