Description Based at Culham, Oxfordshire* Salary up to £32,561 plus a £2,000 South East allowance per annum plus a generous benefits package Fixed Term Appointment for 2 years Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. Given the critical nature of our work, it’s vital that we recruit skilled and committed individuals to our team. We’re looking for a Control Room Systems Support Technician who can provide practical, technical support and ensure service is maintained to our control-room systems and solutions, ensuring system availability and integrity. You’ll provide practical support to control room operators to manage and rectify faults and issues and maintain system integrity by completing system configuration tasks. Some of your work will require working with the Service Desk and 3 rd parties; ensuring that you see the issue through to conclusion. You’ll ensure you have an up-to-date awareness of system and fault status’ and be able to brief the wider team as needed. We’re looking for someone to be a great team player and communicator – excelling in customer service and engaging with end-users and suppliers. You’ll ideally have some experience in support a digital service(s) and be proficient with modern IT applications in the workplace but also be happy working with and leaning new and unfamiliar systems. This role will require travel across our CNC operational sites across England and Scotland. You will also be required to meet the requirements to be granted SC clearance. Please note that this role will initially be based at our HQ Culham until our relocation to Harwell in Autumn 2026 and the role thereafter will be based at Harwell.
