The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Worker based in Hersham. This is a full time temporary position, working 37.5 hours per week, with pay up to £13.68 per hour including holiday pay. The start date is ASAP.
This Nursery Worker role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work. You will support the daily running of a busy plant nursery, helping with preparing, and dispatching plants to a high standard.
You will work across different areas of the nursery, contributing to order preparation, and general site organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Move and prepare plants from greenhouses for cleaning, labelling, and organisation
* Pick, clean, and pack customer orders accurately for dispatch
* Assist with planting containers and preparing displays
* Maintain clean, safe, and organised working areas
* Support general nursery tasks as required
Daily Duties
* Prepare plant orders with strong attention to detail
* Pick and pack plants ready for delivery
Requirements
* Ability to carry out physical work including lifting, bending, and standing
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Willingness to use mobile devices for task tracking
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Own transport preferred due to location
