Conduct comprehensive pre-delivery inspections (PDI) ensuring all vehicle checks are completed accurately and efficiently
Perform vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
Carry out quality control checks prior to vehicle handover to ensure safety and quality compliance
Maintain precise and detailed repair and service records following dealership procedures
Identify and communicate potential issues clearly to the team
Use diagnostic tools effectively to identify faults and recommend necessary repairs
Support with basic repairs, including brake and tyre replacements, as required
Assist in maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and quality throughout the workshop processRequirements of a PDI Technician:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a dealership setting
Full UK driving licence
Own tools suitable for vehicle inspection and repair work
Qualification to at least City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
Demonstrable stability and reliability in previous roles
Excellent attention to detail and high-quality work standards
Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
