Accounts Manager – Hove

The Role
As the Accounts Manager, you will take responsibility for preparing and managing the accounts and tax work for a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Reporting directly to the Partners, you will:
* Prepare and manage sole trader and partnership accounts, as well as self-assessment tax returns using Iris software.
* Prepare and manage limited company accounts and corporation tax returns on Iris.
* Handle VAT returns across multiple platforms, including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
* Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information for timely completion of accounts, tax, and VAT returns.
* Assist with practice management tasks such as WIP control and client billing.
* Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and deliver added value.
* Support the team in achieving individual and team budgets.
* Maintain the highest technical and professional standards in all your work.
* Offer additional help and guidance to clients where needed.
* Coach, train, and develop junior staff.
