Job Description
Experian's Global Security Office is looking for an Information Security Data Engineer with experience using Power Automate, SQL and PowerBI to build end-to-end automation routines as part of its Data Fabric implementation. You will also have data analysis skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
The Data Engineer will develop, improve, and maintain security reporting workbooks and PowerBI dashboards tied to security controls. Responsibilities include designing templates, enhancing data feeds, automating workflows, and interpreting reporting requests.
This is a UK remote-based position reporting to the Lead Security Data Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, test, and implement BI ETL solutions using PowerAutomate, PowerBI, PowerQuery, and Data Fabric.
* Analyze security metrics within PowerBI.
* Write and understand SQL queries and stored procedures.
* Familiarity with AWS data storage services like S3, Athena, RDS.
* Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to update reports and maintain automation routines.
* Ensure reports use appropriate access controls.
* Create visually effective reports that allow user interaction and filtering.
Qualifications
* Experience with MS Data Fabric, Power Automate, PowerBI, MySQL, and AWS data services.
* Understanding of system architecture, business rules, and data validation.
* Experience building standalone and integrated apps with Power Apps, SharePoint, SQL, Excel.
* Proficiency in enterprise reporting and automation using Data Fabric, Power Automate, PowerBI.
