About your team The GPS Platform & Customer Oversight team delivers key Consumer Duty assessments across Retail and Workplace business channels, providing independent oversight, enabling objective scrutiny and structured reporting to the Customer Forum to support ongoing regulatory compliance and improve customer outcomes. About your role The role holder will be responsible for supporting the end to end delivery of high-quality Consumer Duty reporting and assessments across the PI, FAS and WI business channels and playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the function by harnessing new technologies to drive efficiency and aid understanding. The assessments play a critical role in enabling effective oversight, underpinning evidence-based decision-making and supporting continuous improvement in customer outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Support the transformation of Consumer Duty reporting and assessment activities across the PI, FAS and WI business channels, helping to improve efficiency, consistency and stakeholder understanding. Contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting and assessment templates, incorporating stakeholder feedback to improve clarity, consistency and enable effective scrutiny in line with governance expectations. Support the evolving definition and documentation of data requirements for Consumer Duty assessments, including Target Market and Value for Money Assessments, ensuring data is sufficiently detailed and relevant to provide the requisite evidence. Support the production of annual Target Market and Value for Money assessments, ensuring accurate data collation, clear and objective conclusions, application of sound judgement and timely delivery to meet regulatory expectations and to evidence outcomes achieved by customers and to confirm adherence to our target market. Assist with stakeholder management across the production lifecycle, coordinating with contributors, reviewers and approvers to maintain alignment, manage expectations and support timely delivery of agreed outputs including those that roll up into board reporting. Support coordination of the annual Consumer Duty production cycle, covering preparation, reporting, feedback, remediation and review, to ensure activities are well-sequenced and delivered in line with agreed schedules. Support the logging, tracking and management of actions and foreseeable harms arising from Consumer Duty assessments, ensuring clear ownership, appropriate oversight and timely progression to completion to drive continuous improvement. Maintain robust documentation and version control standards, ensuring outputs are appropriately approved, securely stored, non-editable and accessible for internal view in line with governance and record-keeping requirements. About you You will have gained experience of collating and analysing data to produce reports that are clear and unambiguous where conclusions drawn support effective decision making. You will also have embraced new technologies including artificial intelligence to great effect and are enthusiastic about applying that knowledge to this role. Key skills include: A broad understanding of consumer duty principles and how they apply within the Fidelity retail and WI business channels Strong attention to detail in order to analyse data, identify insights and support evidence-based assessments and conclusions. Demonstrable experience of using AI and automation tools courageously and responsibly to improve processes, enhance efficiency and quality, and embed repeatable solutions. Ability to translate both quantitative and qualitative data into clear, objective and meaningful written outputs, with the ability to present these findings to senior forums with confidence. An understanding of the importance of regulation, controls, governance principles and standards and why these are critical for compliance and scrutiny. Ability to apply sound judgement, maintain accuracy and uphold standards of best practice at al times. Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels, maintaining engagement, clarity of expectations and timely delivery. Strong planning, tracking and prioritisation skills to support delivery across complex, cyclical processes. Flexible and adaptable, responds rapidly to changing agendas. Able to re-prioritise and organise effectively. Strong “can do” attitude with a strong desire to make things happen with a high level of ownership.
