Overview

The main purpose of the job is to deliver high quality clinical skills training to Midwives and the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of core competency framework / mandatory training, maintaining, and submitting evidence of staff training compliance records as required. The post holder will work in liaison with the Midwifery Clinical Educator to coordinate, plan the schedule and content of the Programme and then lead in the delivery and assessment of learning within the specialty. This role includes being visible in clinical areas, providing face to face support to staff on wards for 50% of the working week. The role also promotes culturally safe, trauma-informed, and anti-discriminatory practices in all aspects of education and care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated individual who is dedicated to providing high standards of care for women and their families birthing in our Maternity Unit.
