Key Account Manager – Leading provider of Electronics Manufacturing Services
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: Up to £35k DOE
Our client is a privately owned manufacturing business supplying electronic components across multiple sectors. With a long history, strong reputation for delivery, and a people-focused culture, they offer a stable and supportive environment for the right candidate.
We are now looking to add a Key Account Manager to the commercial team.
About the role
Reporting to the Account Team Leader and working closely with the General Manager and MD, you’ll:
* Manage a portfolio of key client accounts
* Act as the main liaison between customers and the business
* Ensure projects are delivered successfully and on time
* Influence and support clients throughout the process
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Revenue and profit growth
* Order fulfilment and pipeline generation
* Building strong client relationships
* Customer communication and reporting (internal & external)
* Monitoring and improving customer satisfaction
* Raising the company profile and promoting services
* Delivering accurate forecasts
What we’re looking for
This role could suit someone ready to step up into a key account role, as well as someone already established in a similar position.
* Strong client-facing and relationship skills
* Ability to plan projects and deliver under pressure
* Background in electronics is a big plus, but not essential
* Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or technical customer service is valuable
