We are seeking a hands-on Software QA Specialist to join our internal product team. This role is crucial in upholding the quality, reliability, and usability of our software products from the earliest stages of development.
You will be directly responsible for the design, execution, and maintenance of test assets, defect management, and collaborating closely with Development, Product, and Support teams to ensure every release meets the highest possible standards before reaching our clients.
The primary focus is on functional and exploratory testing, with a strong expectation and opportunity to proactively introduce and maintain test automation and technical validation where it adds the most value. As the company scales, there will be growth opportunities to expand this role into broader responsibilities, including potential client-facing quality validation activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Experience: Minimum 2+ years of proven professional experience as a QA Specialist, QA Analyst, or Software Tester, ideally within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
* Technical Foundation: Strong grounding in functional testing methodologies and effective test case design (e.g., boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning).
* Automation: Familiarity with key test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and a clear willingness to expand automation coverage.
* Data Skills: Working knowledge of SQL for essential data validation and integrity checks.
* Process Acumen: Comfortable and effective working within an iterative development process (e.g., Scrum/Agile).
* Working Style: Highly hands-on tester, comfortable with and motivated by personally executing tests rather than delegating.
* Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and superior communication abilities to work cross-functionally.
Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):
* Some exposure to incorporating test automation within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), or a strong desire to learn and implement this.
* Familiarity with testing enterprise-scale Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications.
