You will take responsibility for managing and developing relationships with a segment of the CEOs existing clients, as well as new clients in the Essex area who are joining the firm. This role is ideal for someone looking to transition from a paraplanning or support position into a client-facing advice role, or for a recently qualified adviser seeking structured mentorship and career development. Provide financial planning services to new clients, helping them understand their options and achieve their long-term goals. Work independently to prepare and deliver advice, with regular oversight, guidance, and mentorship from the CEO. Conduct client reviews, identify areas for improvement, and recommend suitable financial solutions in line with regulatory and compliance standards. Collaborate with paraplanners and administrators to ensure client files, reports, and recommendations are accurate and compliant. Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and contribute to the firms continued growth. Take an active role in your own professional development, building your confidence and expertise as you progress toward becoming a fully qualified Financial Planner. What youll bring to the table as a Trainee Financial Planner Essential: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS/DiPFA or equivalent) A genuine commitment to delivering ethical, client-first advice Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships Self-motivated and organised, able to manage your own workload and client commitments effectively A proactive approach to professional growth and contributing to the firms success Willingness/ability to go to the London office on a regular basis to meet with the CEO.
