We are currently looking for a Transport Planner (minimum 3 years of experience) with a passion for development related transport planning.The successful candidate will join our clients’ busy team working on a wide range of projects in the South West and across the UK. Their strong and diverse client base means that no one day is the same and staff advise on an extensive portfolio of projects which includes mixed-use regeneration, residential, employment, logistics, retail, leisure and education.As a Transport Planner you will manage projects and communicate directly with clients to provide advice on transport and highway matters. You will also be involved in liaising and negotiating with local highway authority officers and other government bodies to achieve successful outcomes for our clients

9. Highway and junction capacity analysis

12. Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
13. Traffic Regulation and Road Closure Orders
14. Section 106 and 278 Agreement negotiations
15. Expert witness evidence and general support for planning appeals and inquiries
16. Delivery Vehicle Management Plans

The ideal Transport Planner:
You should have a degree in either Transport Engineering, Geography, or Transport Planning. Experience in the field of development focussed transport planning. A member of a professional body, such as CIHT or ICE. Have excellent communication skills with a high standard work ethic and attention to detail and the ability to work proactively and use initiative.
