A business based in Scarborough are currently recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This role offers full or part-time working (30 hours minimum per week). In addition, this role offers an hourly rate of circa £14 to £16 per hour, reflecting your valuable expertise and potential qualification level. This role would be ideal for someone who is immediately available with finance experience seeking a new role to start in September/October, continuing through into the run-up to Christmas. As a Temporary Accounts Assistant, you will be: Assisting with regular financial functions, including preparing BACs runs for suppliers. Weekly Bank reconciliation Monthly update of the fixed asset register Assist in production of monthly management reports, managing budget allocation and cost analysis Assist with the preparation of VAT returns Assist with budget related activities Assist with Payroll administration To be successful in this Temporary Accounts Assistant role, you will ideally have/be: Strong organisational, attention to detail and time management skills Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software, with the ability to manage invoicing and reporting Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
