Job description
Our client, a leading player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electronics) to join their dynamic team in Fife, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent role within a highly respected global leader in Manufacturing and Defence projects.
Important: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance *minimum 5 years UK residency*
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work on the full test lifecycle and diagnostics process
2. Provide input to design authorities for successful DFM/DFT implementation
3. Support bid work as required
4. Engage in process improvement tasks
5. Mentor junior engineers early in their career
6. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
Job Requirements:
7. Proven experience in electronics test and diagnostics, particularly in a high-reliability environment
8. Electronics qualification such as HND or degree
9. Experience working on defence or military products
10. Knowledge of high reliability electronics
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
12. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
13. Permanent UK residency with successful background checks for a baseline BPSS security check
