HE Administrative Support Worker (Part Time)
Part Time - 22.5 hours per week | Reduced Year - 35 weeks per year
Monday - 9am to 3pm, Tuesday 10am to 3pm, Thursday 9am to 3pm, Friday 9am to 2.30pm.
University Centre Leeds is seeking a reliable and proactive HE Administrative Support Officer to provide tailored support to a member of our academic team within the Early Years and Health subject areas. This role assists a lecturer to enable continuing delivery of high-quality teaching and effective engagement with students. We’re looking for someone who can commit to these hours and be part of our supportive team.

* Actual salary for the above hours and weeks is £12,392 per annum
What You Will Do
* Work closely with the lecturer to provide personalised administrative support to enable teaching
* Set up and run the powerpoint slide show while the lecturer is presenting
* Provide assistance with marking, including reading aloud student answers
* Note taking as required
* Input information into the different systems accurately
About You
* Must have excellent IT skills with familiarity with Microsoft and Google Applications
* Have a qualification at level 3 or above
* Experience in providing support or mentoring
* Previous experience in administration
* Able to accurately record information
* Strong understanding of the impact of disability on learning
* Flexibility as hours/days may change depending on teaching days/hours
