Based in Derby, my client is a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Structural Engineering. We’re seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join their busy team and have the opportunity to participate in residential design plus major development projects ranging from drainage strategies to flood risk assessments.
To be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineering role, it is essential for candidate to have the following:
* Qualifications of either Meng, BEng, or a relevant Structural Engineering degree
* Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written
* Desire to work towards a chartership
* The ability to work effectively in a team
* Knowledge of Autocad plus any modelling software is advantageous eg Master Series or Tekkla
Duties and responsibilities for this Graduate Structural Engineer include:
* Working as a part of a team
* Conduct design information, interpret data and solve any problems relating to company services
* Attend site meetings if required
* Carry out duties and report to Senior Design Engineers
