Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description:
Join a well-established electrical equipment manufacturer for industrial applications across energy, automation, rail, marine, and telecoms sectors. You will work closely with design, production, and sales teams to develop innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality systems.
Job Responsibilities:
• Produce design calculations, technical drawings, 3D models, and Bills of Materials.
• Review and approve design information from team members.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Test departments to optimise designs and resolve issues.
• Participate in research, development, and product testing.
• Apply electrical best practices, industry standards, and ISO 9001 quality processes.
Skill Required:
• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Significant electrical design experience, including designing equipment or machinery.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of CE marking, DFMEA, and relevant regulatory/industry standards.
