Female Support Worker Required
Sarah is 19 years old, lives at home with her family in Bromley, and attends College four days per week (pre Covid-19, we are hopeful this will resume asap). Sarah has cerebral palsy; she uses a walking aid and for long distances will use her wheelchair, she is extremely independent and requires practical hands-on support. As Sarah’s support worker your role will involve providing practical hands on support with physical tasks, personal care, life admin duties, managing diary / appointments etc. college drop offs and pick-ups, and accessing activities and social events. Sarah has occupational and physiotherapy plans in place so training is provided by her treating therapist to support Sarah and implement this programmes at home, at hydrotherapy or in the gym.
