Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as a n Air Quality Impact Assessment Specialist (part -time inputs up to 2 days per week). Location: Flexible/Hybrid work from office or home, with occasional visits to Peterborough office. The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a n Air Quality Impact Assessment Specialist to support and enhance our project delivery team. What will you be doing as our new Air Quality Impact Assessment Specialist ? We are looking for a highly motivated Air Quality specialist, who has practical experience in scoping targeted, streamlined and proportionate EIA inputs on large scale infrastructure schemes. Reporting to the SPA EIA Discipline Lead, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a standardised and proportionate approach to consideration of traffic and transport impacts. This role will include the development of methods, scoping and mitigation information, followed by input to project-specific impact assessments, authoring written deliverables for Screening, Scoping and Environmental Statements/Appraisals. Key responsibilities: Deliver all tasks assigned to you by the Lead Enabling Coordinator promptly and cost effectively Contribute to targeted stakeholder consultation Contribute to development of a standardised approach for the production of air quality inputs Produce consistent, technical, high-quality air quality inputs to environmental assessment deliverables Work with the EIA team to ensure that air quality inputs meet the key SPA programme milestones Ensure health and safety, security and environment compliance A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours: This job might be for you if you have : Experience in delivering streamlined assessment of construction phase air quality impacts on large capital programmes. The ability to embrace and utilise new technologies and processes to expediate the planning and EIA process. Experience of delivering on water infrastructure schemes would be beneficial, but not essential. A proactive nature who will contribute to stakeholder engagement with 3rd party interfaces to ensure the SPA Consenting teams have the best opportunity for gaining approvals in a timely and cost- effective manner. A s trong technical background and demonstrable knowledge of air quality requirements within consent applications.
