Employment Solicitor – Birmingham
A leading, top-tier employment practice in Birmingham is seeking to add an experienced Employment Solicitor to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with circa 3+ years’ PQE to join a highly regarded practice working with major education institutions and a diverse commercial client base.
The Role:
You will be advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:
* Employment Tribunal claims and case management
* Advisory work for higher education institutions and commercial employers
* Employee relations, HR support, and day-to-day operational advice
* Redundancy, restructuring, and change management projects
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
* Delivering training, seminars, and legal updates to clients
* Supporting business development initiatives across key sectors
About You:
* Circa 3+ years’ PQE in employment law
* Strong experience gained from a reputable employment practice
* Confident handling both advisory and Tribunal matters with appropriate supervision
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
* Team-focused, commercially aware, and proactive
* Experience supervising or delegating to junior team members is an advantage
