Shift Pattern (Rotating)
Mon‑Thu: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Fri: 6:00 am – 11:30 am
Mon‑Thu: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Fri: 11:30 am – 5:00 pm
Applicants must be able to work both shifts.
The Role
As a CNC Setter Operator, you will set and run CNC Turning Lathes to produce precision components to extremely tight tolerances. You’ll be part of a skilled team working with modern equipment and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and run CNC Turning Lathes
* Machine high‑precision components to tight deadlines
* Carry out in‑process checks using micrometers, digital calipers, shadow graph and laser micrometer
* Read and interpret complex engineering drawings
* Machine parts to tolerances as tight as 0.010 mm / 10 microns
* Operate multiple machines simultaneously
* Maintain accurate machining records and TPM documentation
* Follow manufacturing procedures, quality standards and H&S guidelines
* Protect confidentiality of customer information
* Consistently deliver high‑quality, accurate work
What You’ll Bring
* Experience setting and operating CNC turning machinery
* Strong ability to read engineering drawings
* Precision machining experience across various materials
* Confident use of measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, shadow graph, laser micrometer)
* Ability to work both shifts as part of rotation
* Flexibility to work overtime when needed
* A commitment to accuracy, quality and safe working practices
