The Ideal Candidate The ideal Pastoral Attendance Officer will have: Previous experience as a Pastoral Attendance Officer, Attendance Officer, Family Liaison Officer, Welfare Officer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of attendance procedures and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Experience working with vulnerable young people. The ability to manage challenging situations professionally and calmly. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Experience within a PRU, Alternative Provision, SEMH school, or SEN setting would be highly beneficial.
