Purpose of Post:
The Head of Sales is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of the
aftermarket sales strategy, together with ensuring the overall performance of the sales team. They will work alongside the Sales Director of All Service One and other
members of the senior management team to ensure the ongoing development, growth and sustainability of the business.
The postholder will have direct responsibility for the sales team, who drive parts and service sales in the bus sector and in other specialist vehicle sectors.They will also lead the business development team in exploring, analysing and acquiring new business in the wider transport support space.
The Head of Sales is responsible for the customer relationship and contact strategy of AllServiceOne with all customers globally, alongside the development of new sectors.They will act as a strong figurehead for the organisation; with the ability to develop and maintain long term customer relationships with key stakeholders. They will possess an entrepreneurial spirit to develop new business both in and out of the bus sector driving profitable revenue growth.
They will engage with a range of stakeholders across the United Kingdom, Europe and Internationally to promote and sell the products on offer demonstrating the highest level of customer relationships.
Based in our new facility in Bicester, Oxfordshire, the successful candidate will be required to travel frequently to our offices in Ballymena, Northern Ireland as well as our customers throughout the UK & Ireland, Europe and Asia.
Key Tasks:
·Responsible for setting and delivering revenue growth.
·Overall responsibility for managing sales, achieving growth, and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets.
·Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships with strategically important accounts.
·Promote the company and products globally by thoroughly understanding the sectors and position the organisation to match customers’ needs and expectations.
·Promote within the Sales team the requirement for customer centric solutions using our range of products.
·Ensure the sales strategy aggressively targets expanding customer base within bus whilst creating opportunities in other sectors.
·Look to grow sales in line with the sales strategy of Wrightbus vehicles.
·Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand. Identifying emerging opportunities and market shifts while being fully aware of new products, pricing, and state of competition.
·Agree forecasts and annual sales targets for regions and project expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products. Ensuring a healthy pipeline of business.
·Identify and develop new opportunities both within and outside of the Bus sector, analysing available data to understand the market and opportunity in any given sector.
·Identify and respond to all opportunities in a timely and efficient manner and work with internal stakeholders to win the business.
·Identify and originate cross-selling opportunities into Wrightbus.
·Act as a role model, coaching and supporting staff in their personal and professional development within their role, encouraging innovation and creativity within the workplace.
·Review at least annually the performance of reporting staff, in line with performance management system.
·Ensure all staff adhere to policies and procedures.
·Accountable for setting the Sales budget with the SD and SMT to support successful delivery of the strategic business plans.

Essential Criteria:
Educational Attainments:Degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing or business-related subject or equivalent.
Job Experience:A minimum 3 years’ experience working as a mid -senior manager or director, Proven experience of leading a team, Experience of engaging successfully with multi-stakeholders and developing effective partnerships.
Technical Skills:Demonstrable experience of effective and persuasive management of stakeholders from the shop floor to senior management, Proven experience of productivity management, Experience in engagement with customers to discuss aftermarket opportunities, Demonstrable experience of change management, Ability to sell concepts, programmes, and ideas, Analytical skills to identify opportunities across different data sets, Confident in the use of MS office and willingness to learn bespoke web-based IT systems, Commercial awareness of how to identify and exploit profitable business opportunities, Experience in management of large and diverse teams.
Leadership Skills:Ability to work as a member of a team and on your own initiative, Strong communication & problem-solving skills, Ability to meet tight deadlines, Ability to meet targets & work in a professional manner.
Circumstances: Flexible and adaptable, Willing to take on business travel, Able and willing to work overtime when required.
