We’re looking for an experienced and strategically-minded Head of PPC to join our Paid Media team. This pivotal role bridges hands-on PPC execution with leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, technically sound, and strategically aligned PPC campaigns across both domestic and international clients.
You’ll act as the technical lead within the PPC function, driving innovation, quality control, and the upskilling of the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership & Support
· Act as the first point of contact for technical PPC queries and troubleshooting.
· Diagnose and resolve issues across platforms, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
· Collaborate with account teams to ensure integrated PPC strategies that align with broader client goals.
2. Quality Assurance & Best Practices
· Oversee QA processes for campaign builds, optimisations, and onboarding activities.
· Maintain adherence to internal standards, client SLAs, and Google Premier Partner requirements.
· Ensure each client has a 3-month strategic roadmap with documented deliverables and testing plans.
· Co-develop PPC playbooks and standardised processes to drive consistency and excellence.
3. Team Mentoring & Development
· Lead monthly/quarterly training sessions, coaching, and knowledge-sharing workshops.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the PPC team.
· Support onboarding of new hires with detailed plans, performance milestones, and progress reports.
· Provide feedback on team performance and support career growth initiatives.
4. Innovation & Strategic Growth
· Identify and test new platforms, automation tools, scripts, and performance strategies.
· Drive innovation through regular knowledge-sharing and internal presentations.
· Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively integrate new technologies into the PPC approach.
5. Departmental Strategy & Leadership
· Work with the Head of Paid Media on team resource planning and workflow optimisation.
· Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the PPC department structure and processes.
· Lead monthly PPC updates in team meetings and support broader Paid Media strategy discussions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior PPC or performance marketing role, ideally in an agency setting.
* Deep technical knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and relevant PPC tools and platforms.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
* Experience with process development, training, and mentoring within a PPC function.
