Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an industry leading Software Company who are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team, based in the outskirts of Oxford.
The successful candidate will possess experience selling services in a consultative manner, with the ability to oversee the full sales cycle, with long term career aims. Experience within the technology/SAAS sector is advantageous, though candidates with a background in relatable industries will also be considered. Please note, the role involves commuting to the Oxfordshire-based office once a week.
There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to £50k DOE, with an uncapped commission structure realistically offering an additional £30k OTE, alongside 30 days holidays, 23 personal development days a year, £700 a year to spend on anything which aids your work-life balance, a fully paid month-long sabbatical after 5 years’ service and flexible working options.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Deliver a multi-channel approach to generate new business with both new and existing clients
* Researching potential clients generating leads with autonomy
* Contributing in strategy meetings, having an input in how to contact new clients
* Meeting and exceeding monthly sales key performance indicators such as, number of new customer contacts, number of lead conversions and number of closed sales
* Qualifying and understanding all opportunities effectively
* Ensure the database is kept updated
Skills and Experience
* Experience within a similar 360 B2B sales role
* A background in technology, software, digital marketing or similar
* Experience of KPIs and motivated by targets to achieve commission
* Excellent communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
