Job Summary Banbury Cross Health Centre is a 42,000 patient practice in the centre of Banbury. 12 × 15‑minute routine appointments per session, local home‑visiting service (≤ 1 visit/week). 6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave pro‑rata, extra well‑being day. Surgery hours 08:30–18:30. No out‑of‑hours or weekend commitments. Daily debrief over coffee for all clinicians.

Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day general practice at a large surgery.
Cover care homes and private‑school ward rounds.
Supervise GP registrars/F2s.
Supervise and advise a mixed range of allied health professionals.
Manage personal patient list and assist in meeting QOF targets.
Qualifications & Experience Essential Experience
GP vocational or additional experience in general practice.
Essential Qualifications
Recognised Medical Degree (MBChB, MBBS or equivalent).
General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training – CCT).
Full GMC Registration and National Performers List registration.
Desirable
MRCGP.
Legal and Registration Requirements The post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975; a DBS check will be required. Applicants must hold current UK professional registration. For details see NHS Careers website.
Employment Details Salary: £10,925 – £11,845 per session (depending on experience).
Contract: Permanent.
Working pattern: Full‑time, part‑time or flexible working.
Location: Banbury Cross Health Centre, South Bar Street, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 9AD (alternatively 58 Bridge Street, Banbury, OX16 5QD).
