We’re seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team by preparing and delivering high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Role Importance
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, helping to prepare meals and maintain the workspace. Your efforts will ensure smooth food preparation processes and contribute to a positive dining experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation: Assist in preparing meals efficiently to high standards.
* Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and appliances.
* Delivery Handling: Receive, check, and store kitchen deliveries properly.
* Food Safety: Follow safe food handling practices to ensure safety standards.
* Cleaning Procedures: Sanitize surfaces and equipment regularly.
* Presentation: Keep all areas well-presented and maintained.
* Safe Work Practices & Health & Safety: Follow safety protocols and legislation to ensure a safe working environment.
* Professionalism & Teamwork: Act courteously and support team collaboration.
* Storage & Policy Adherence: Ensure proper storage of supplies and comply with company policies.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
* Organizational Skills: Manage tasks efficiently and keep the kitchen tidy.
* Food Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety principles.
* Attention to Detail: Ensure cleanliness and proper storage.
* Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with team members.
* Team Player: Work collaboratively within the team.
Desired Experience:
* Previous Experience: Not essential but advantageous.
* Food Handling Knowledge: Familiarity with safety procedures is beneficial.
