A newly created Head of Commercial Finance role with a large, profitable, multi-site consumer business at a genuinely pivotal moment — new investment, new commercial opportunities, and a CFO who wants finance to drive decisions, not just report them.
This is a business with a substantial customer base, high transaction volumes and multiple sites. The finance function is growing, and this role has been created to give commercial finance proper ownership and visibility for the first time.

What theyre looking for
A qualified accountant with strong commercial finance experience in a multi-site, customer-facing trading environment. Sectors that translate well include hospitality, leisure, retail, travel, food service, restaurants, pubs, convenience, forecourts or anything similarly live and margin-driven.
They need someone who gets into the detail but doesnt live there — someone who can sit with an operational leader, understand whats driving performance, and say something useful about it.
Its for someone who already thinks commercially and wants more ownership, more visibility, and a seat at the table where decisions get made.
