Join Our Team as a Health and Social Care Officer in our building-based respite service.
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others?
We’re seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual to join our dynamic team as a Health and Social Care Officer within our respite service.
Our service supports adults with complex learning disabilities and autism, and we’re looking for someone who brings energy, creativity, and dedication to enhancing the lives of people with additional needs.
As part of our experienced and imaginative team, you’ll help create fun, purposeful opportunities that empower individuals to build independence and reach their full potential. We offer a wide range of activities tailored to meet each person’s sensory and social needs, while encouraging community engagement and skill development in a safe, nurturing environment.
You’ll take a person-centred approach to care—supporting individuals to express themselves, make choices, and communicate in their own unique ways. Your role will be vital in helping people feel heard, respected, and valued.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a constantly evolving environment and embraces innovative, creative solutions to meet challenges head-on. You’ll be expected to support all aspects of daily living, including personal care, and should have experience working with individuals whose behaviour may be perceived as challenging.
You will be required to work 2 weekends out of 3, the 3 week rota pattern is a mix of early shifts and late shifts.
If you’re ready to be part of a team that celebrates individuality and promotes positive change, we’d love to hear from you.
