Overview
The Adult Learning Disability service is looking to recruit a motivated and suitably qualified Resource Manager for the Housing and Outreach Support service based at Oransay Court, Portree on the Isle of Skye.
The role involves day-to-day management and delivery of high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, in people’s homes and in community settings.
The successful candidate will be required to meet personal registration standards with The Care Inspectorate and SSSC (Registered Manager’s Award) and to complete statutory paperwork such as Annual Returns, Variations and Notifications for The Care Inspectorate.
The post holder will manage staff to ensure the team is trained to an appropriate standard, meet registration requirements, and follow SSSC Codes of Practice. The role includes working within the multidisciplinary and multi-agency extended Community Learning Disability Team across the Highland Health and Social Care Partnership to deliver an integrated care service with an enhanced role for housing and related community support services for people with a learning disability and their families/carers.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate how they would continue the service’s work to provide a safe and stimulating environment that promotes dignity, respect and the fulfilling of individuals’ potential, in line with Support and Personal Outcome Plans, Health & Social Care Standards and Keys to Life.

Responsibilities

* Maintain required statutory paperwork and regulatory compliance for The Care Inspectorate.
Qualifications
* Meet personal registration standards with The Care Inspectorate and SSSC (Registered Manager’s Award).
* Experience in care management, housing support, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
