We’re now on the hunt for a special someone to join the team as a Window & Door Fitter. You’ll be a great communicator as you’ll liaise with customers and Work Planners to ensure the Planned and Responsive works you do provide a great customer experience by being on time and to a high standard. You'll also be happy to pitch in with the team and assist with other duties if needed. To be considered you’ll need to have: Minimum NVQ level 2 (or City & Guilds) in Fenestration or Carpentry & Joinery Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety issues relating to repairs & maintenance & construction trades. A full UK driving licence A few key points from our role profile: Minimise disruption to customers and ensure compliance with safe methods of working in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations & FHG’s Health, Safety and Environment Policy. Maintain effective communication with the Supervisory/ administration and management staff passing on information, concerns and problems with regard to any jobs. Attend pre-arranged planned, responsive or void appointments to carry out work or contact customers directly to make access arrangements. You’ll have access to one of our company vans for visiting homes and you’ll love the variety this role brings. Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon - Thurs 8:00am till 4:00pm, Fri 8:00am till 3:30pm with 30 minutes break for lunch break, paid monthly.
