Clinical Fellow in Breast and Surgical Oncology We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated doctor who is committed to excellence in clinical breast work to join our dynamic team. This post is a fixed‑term position for 12 months at Queen Alexandra Hospital, with potential involvement in the surgical management of thyroid disease and skin cancer.

Responsibilities
Attend out‑patient breast clinics and participate in breast surgery theatre work.
Contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
Engage in research, audit and innovation projects under close consultant supervision.
Provide clinical care for patients without on‑call duty.
Take clear and concise case histories and perform appropriate clinical examinations.
Carry out suitable surgical procedures and apply clinical risk management principles.
Person Specification Qualifications
Full GMC registration with licence to practice.
MBBS or equivalent.
MRCS or equivalent.
PLAB (if applicable).
Experience
Higher professional training in General Surgery at ST3+ level.
Experience working within the NHS.
Training in Breast Surgery (desirable).
Additional Criteria
Evidence of participation in research and audit (desirable).
Willingness to undertake projects leading to presentations and publications.
Ability to work successfully under pressure.
Good oral and written communication skills.
