RESPONSIBILITIES
• Purchase direct materials aligned with operational requirements, executing MRP requirements.
• Maintain part and procurement parameters in MRP/ERP systems, including supplier lead times, safety stocks, and yields. Ensure all purchase orders and amendments are current.
• Assist in tender processes for new requirements, negotiate pricing, and terms to secure the best outcomes for G&H.
• Develop and sustain proactive supplier relationships.
• Manage inventory, working with internal and external partners to optimize stock levels according to product lifecycle and business needs.
• Support cost reduction initiatives.
• Regularly monitor procurement KPIs (OTIF, Quality, PPV), publishing results and action plans to meet targets.
• Build strong internal relationships to address purchasing issues and requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement and supply chain processes, tools, and workflows, including implementing new tools and procedures for group rollout.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations, and uphold company quality and environmental systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to foster a respectful and dignified workplace culture.
