JOB MISSION:
The Merchandising Planner will be assisting our Lifestyle Account by providing a thorough analysis across the Key Account base, identifying sales trends, managing order book opportunity & risk, and affecting future sales planning. Joining a team of 3, the ideal candidate will provide key support for the senior business planners and across the wider Lifestyle Account Team. Our Sales Planner must have strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with all internal stakeholders.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Own the weekly stock, sales, and intake process to understand sales pacing at a key account level, reviewing any opportunities or risks with the senior business planner.
* Maintain order book health through weekly processes, focusing on forecasting through order book sheets and utilizing sales reporting to aid decision-making from our data provider SPS.
* Manage the key account order book flow, conversion, and realignment, working with customer service to maintain an accurate order book.
* Assist in producing reports on sell-outs, sales performance, and KPIs to feedback to the business and feeding upwards to the senior business planner.
* Assist in opportunities of free stock and control of stock turn.
* Assist in data entry and build formal reviews of our main global forecasting tool (Vanguard) - rollups & review.
* Provide a point of contact and build strong customer relationships with customers' merchandising resources to collaborate and help drive efficient decision-making.
* Collaborate and build strong relationships with Account Managers and across the Amsterdam Retail Team
* Support the wider sales team during busy periods.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Dynamic leader with the ability to create strong cross-functional partnerships across all levels
* Team player who leads by example
* Commercial acumen and strong relationship skills
* Remain up to date with the industry's best practices
* Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills
